Active School is a Department of Education and Skills initiative supported by Healthy Ireland. The Active School Flag is awarded to schools that strive to achieve a physically educated and physically active school community. The process aims to get more schools, more active, more often.

As part of "Run To Stay Active", all students participate in the daily mile.
In May, we have a family fun run around our town park. All students, their families, and friends are welcome to take part.
Active Week will commence on May 20th, 2024.
We also encourage students to participate in the Tralee Junior Park Run on Sunday mornings at 9:30am www.parkrun.ie/tralee-juniors/

Trip to The Wetlands
5th and 6th class enjoyed a trip to The Wetlands. We walked around the lake, worked out on the gym equipment and spent time in the playground.
5-A-Side Soccer Tournement
Well done to our Girls and Boys who competed in the FAI Primary schools 5-a-side soccer tournament.
Giant Jenga, Connect 4, Polydrons and Catch make for some fantastic fun games at break times.
